JGL was hired by the owner to assess the interior acoustics in the main sanctuary and propose recommendations for acoustical treatment.

Chehalis Seventh Day Adventist Church, Chehalis, WA (1992)

JGL was hired by the Architect to review preliminary plans for a new church and make recommendations for room shaping, interior acoustical treatment, sound isolation, and HVAC system noise control.

Plymouth Congregational Church Renovation, Seattle, WA (1994)

JGL was hired by the Architect to review plans for a renovation of the sanctuary and make recommendations for sound system improvements and interior acoustical treatment.

Overlake Christian Church, Redmond, WA (1996)

JGL was hired by the Contractor to review HVAC system design-build drawings for a new church and propose noise control measures to achieve the recommended background noise levels in the sanctuary and the orchestra and choir rehearsal rooms.

Edgewood Baptist Church Multipurpose Room, Edmonds, WA (2000)

JGL was hired by the owner to assess complaints about poor acoustics in the church's multipurpose room. The acoustic study revealed too much reverberation and excessive background noise. Specific recommendations to control both reverberation and noise were provided and successfully implemented by the owner.
